Working Bee

2nd Sunday of every month

10am - 12pm

Working bees help to maintain the garden.

Working bees are held each month on the third Sunday from 10am to 12pm. Members work together in their Taskforce or Communal garden group to keep the garden looking good and meet with other community gardeners. The working bee is generally followed by a BBQ lunch and/or a guest speaker from 12pm to 2pm.

Members are asked to attend a minimum of 5 working bees each year for general garden maintenance.

Regular garden activities

Garden Committee meetings

Every first Tuesday of the month the CPCG Organising Committee meets to discuss matters relating to garden management, maintenance and activities. Members are welcome to submit agenda items for discussion at the meeting. Agenda items need to be emailed to cpcgoc@gmail.com by the Sunday before the meeting. Members can also raise matters with Committee Members when they are at the garden.

BBQs

Every 3rd Sunday of the month (except in December), weather permitting, we have a BBQ after the Taskforce Working Bee and catch up with fellow members. Wine, beer, gourmet sausages and vegetarian fare are provided.
